Positions avialiable are for: One Time Served CNC Turner and Two CNC Millers

Alken Engineering is a dynamic and successful organisation that specialises in precision machining, fabrication, and general engineering services to various OEM’s. Due to continued growth we are looking to expand our current machine shop team with the addition of one skilled CNC Turner and two skilled CNC Millers, based at our Birch Vale site.

Alken operates an assortment of CNC lathes namely Mori Seiki, XYZ, Gildemeister, MHP.

This position would suit a turner with experience of at least one of the above machines.

CAD/CAM knowledge would also prove beneficial.

Candidates must be familiar with NC programming and have a solid background in machining.

We are also looking for two-experienced CNC Millers to operate Bridgeport VMC.

Knowledge of Heidenhain Controls preferable.

Candidates must be familiar with programming and have a solid background in machining.
This role is on Day shift with a 39-hour week, overtime is usually available.
