Alken Engineering Ltd is a leading specialist in the provision of engineering services to The United Kingdom & Europe Manufacturing located in Thornsett, New Mills, North Derbyshire. Established 1975 it moved to its present purpose built premises in 1999. Due to increased customer demands these were further extended in 2002 and 2008 to give a floor area in excess of 30000 sq ft. The family-run business currently employs some 50 personnel.
